CrestSense

Introducing the next generation of inflatable rubber dam technology — engineered to deliver a new level of operational insight and confidence. With CrestSense, Dyrhoff's integrated dam-height measuring and condition-monitoring system, operators gain a capability that conventional rubber dams simply do not provide. It is protected by granted UK patent GB2592266B.

Integrated performance awareness

Real-time measurement of dam height and behaviour

By integrating continuous measurement into the rubber dam itself, CrestSense provides real-time awareness of crest height and dynamic behaviour as operating conditions change. Live data is reported to the control station, giving operators an accurate, quantitative view of dam elevation and performance in place of estimation or periodic inspection — supporting precise level control and confident, well-informed operation.

Condition monitoring and early fault detection

Continuous assessment of dam condition

Beyond height, CrestSense continuously assesses the condition of the dam. It identifies developing fault conditions — including localised deformation of the crest, abnormal vibration and progressive ageing of the membrane — and reports them to the control station before they affect performance or safety. This supports timely, targeted intervention, extending service life and reducing maintenance costs. Where required, the system can adjust the dam's operating parameters automatically to mitigate a developing condition.
