Don Mason, Director
Don has been involved in the inflatable rubber dam business since 1989 when he was taken on as European Product Manager for Sumitomo Electric’s rubber dam market. He was later appointed Sumitomo’s International Product Manager and spent 2½ years at Sumitomo’s Headquarters in Japan. In 2003, Sumitomo took the decision to focus on their Japanese market and Don was offered the rights to the Sumitomo rubber dam design for markets in the rest of the world. Don teamed up with Dyrhoff AS and set up Dyrhoff Limited as the headquarters for the Dyrhoff rubber dam business. Don is a Chartered Engineer and Member of the Institute of Civil Engineers. His previous experience includes engineering management roles on the Channel Tunnel and geotechnical engineering work for the offshore and hydroelectric industries.
