Many areas are experiencing greater extremes of weather, potentially resulting in periods of both drought and flood within a few months. Rubber dams and pneumatic gates offer control over water levels, providing water storage during dry periods and allowing water to drain efficiently during periods of heavy rain.
Dyrhoff is able to provide pneumatic gates as narrow as 1-2m for smaller landowners, or much larger dams and gates for community water storage. The systems are controlled using standard air compressors or blowers with fail-safe manual deflation valves. This ensures that they can always be opened, reducing the risk of jamming and flood water obstruction.
